Tony co-founded Sycamore Planning Ltd to deliver infrastructure solutions for the energy, waste and food industries. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, Tony has over 28 years' of construction and development experience delivering a wide range of projects throughout the UK as the former director of a major construction contractor.
A past president of the Chartered Institute of Building, chartered environmentalist and surveyor. Named 2014 “Achiever of the Year” by Constructing Excellence and the Association for Project Management’s young project manager of the year in 1995. Martin successfully secured and led the £2bn Project SLAM, £1.38bn Birmingham Schools for the Future and Network Rail’s 3750m redevelopment of Birmingham New Street Station.
Sylvia has over 20 years’ experience as a qualified accountant and brings a wealth of knowledge to Sycamore Planning as a skilled finance executive in both the corporate sector and smaller entrepreneurial enterprises having worked in distribution, logistics and communications sectors.
Simon has over 30 years’ experience managing design and delivery of complex and diverse projects including hospitals, correctional facilities and airports. Simon is responsible for all design related activities within the development team.
Stuart has over 20 years’ experience delivering successful projects with main contractors such as Balfour Beatty and Kier Group. Stuart has a track record of delivering solar, biomass chp and district heating projects. Stuart leads the Sycamore Planning development team on all stages of project development from project feasibility through to commissioning and handover.
Laurence has a masters degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh and in the past 10 years' has been responsible for designing, constructing and managing renewable energy projects in Africa, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. Laurence brings his knowledge and experience to Sycamore Planning to lead a team in the development of facilities finding solutions for the current waste and energy industries in the UK.
Paul is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute with experience in the delivery of complex planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental permit application for strategic waste and renewable energy developments throughout the UK. Paul has responsibility for overseeing the site procurement process, project feasibility studies and the submission of all planning and environmental permit applications.
Andy has over 30 years' of construction and development experience delivering a wide range of projects throughout the UK as the former director of a major construction contractor. Andy brings his experience to Sycamore Planning to manage and co-ordinate the development and delivery of all projects currently being pursued by Sycamore Planning.
Gary is a Chartered Waste Manager with 18 years' experience in environmental regulation, compliance and protection. He has worked for the Environment Agency, Severn Trent Water and Aggregate Industries. He is responsible for the ongoing relationship with the Environment Agency, leading on the delivery of new Environmental Permits whilst providing support and advice to ensure operational teams adhere to regulatory requirements.
